Perhaps being Bohemian is simply choosing to live a little differently.
To stay curious. To wander farther. To question the expected path. To make things by hand, cook from scratch, spend more time outside, find beauty in ordinary places, and discover that there is rarely only one right way to live.
The word Bohemian has evolved over time.
It began with unconventional artists, writers and creatives who stepped outside the expectations of respectable society to pursue a life shaped by art, freedom, creativity and individuality.
Then came Boho — the modern, aesthetic expression of that free-spirited tradition. Flowing fabrics, vintage treasures, natural textures, eclectic spaces, music, travel and a little bit of wanderlust.
The Hippie carried those ideas further into counterculture — bringing peace, love, freedom, community, nature, spirituality.
She's a more modern expression of outdoor culture, environmental consciousness, counterculture and practical living.
Her rebellion might look like:
Buy less.
Get outside.
Make things yourself.
Thrift it.
Reuse it.
Grow something.
Cook from scratch.
Choose experiences over stuff.
Question consumerism.
Spend less time scrolling and more time living.
She's likely to be sitting beside a campfire wondering why we spend so much of our lives indoors.
And perhaps that's where The Bohemian Way lives today.
Somewhere between the vintage and the modern.
Between the art studio and the forest trail.
Between the farmers' market and the campfire.
Between the flowing dress and the hiking boots.
Between beauty and simplicity.
Between curiosity and consciousness.
It's about the way you choose to experience your life.
The Bohemian Blog is my lifestyle journal — a collection of stories, ideas, discoveries, recommendations and everyday pleasures inspired by a life lived a little outside the ordinary.
Think travel and trails, farmers' markets and campfires, homemade food and vintage finds, slow mornings and wild places.
Beauty, culture, nature, home, wellness, creativity, food, adventure and all the little things that make life feel good.
Some days will be practical.
Some will be curious.
Some will wander down a strange little rabbit hole.
Some might take you somewhere new.
Because this isn't about creating the perfect bohemian life.
It's about noticing the one you're already living...
and making it a little more beautiful, meaningful, adventurous and your own.
So come curious.
Wander awhile.
Take the scenic route.
Find something worth bringing home.

Find out how crunchy you really are.
A little guide to the outdoorsy, natural, unconventional lifestyle — and all the wonderfully crunchy ways you can make it your own.

Between beauty and simplicity.
Between curiosity and consciousness.
Between wandering and putting down roots.
Designing a life with intention.
Because being Bohemian isn't really about the aesthetic.
It's not about having the perfect vintage wardrobe, living in a van, or filling your house with macramé.
It's about how you choose to experience your life.
What you consume.
What you create.
Where you wander.
What you question.
What you value.
What you bring into your home.
What you leave behind.
It's choosing experiences over excess,
curiosity over conformity, connection over consumption, and a little more wildness in a world that can sometimes feel overly programmed.
The Bohemian Way is about finding beauty in the everyday while staying curious about the world beyond it.
Travel. Nature. Food. Beauty. Home. Wellness. Creativity. Culture. Adventure.
The practical.
The beautiful.
The unconventional.
The wonderfully weird.
Come explore the art of creating a life that feels more like your own.
